Human EMILIN1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit provides colorimetric detection of human EMILIN1 (Elastin Microfibril Interface 1), an extracellular matrix glycoprotein involved in maintaining tissue integrity and regulating cell adhesion and migration. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a sandwich ELISA, double antibody configuration.

Sensitivity is 0.469 ng/mL with a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (89–105%, 88–105%, 89–103%), EDTA plasma (82–99%, 82–101%, 82–94%) and heparin plasma (81–94%, 81–95%, 83–93%) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions. Mean recovery in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma is 94%. Storage is 2–8°C for 12 months.

The protocol proceeds from reagent equilibration, through 37°C incubation with samples for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, to absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution. Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample, antibody and SABC dilution buffers, wash buffer (25X), stop solution, plate sealer and technical manual.
