Human EMILIN-1 (EMILIN1) ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise quantification of EMILIN-1 levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie offers specificity for both natural and recombinant human EMILIN-1. Emilin-1 is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein implicated in the regulation of extracellular matrix organization, with dysregulation associated with cardiovascular disorders, fibrosis, and cancer. The protein is thought to anchor smooth muscle cells to elastic fibers and to play a part in vessel assembly and cell adhesion.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Average recovery is 101% (range 95-107%) for serum and 103% (range 97-109%) for plasma. Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
