Human Elastase 2B (ELA2B) ELISA Kit

A 96-assay microplate kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of human Elastase 2B (ELA2B), a serine protease of the chymotrypsin-like elastase family. ELA2B (gene symbol CELA2B) cleaves elastin and contributes to extracellular matrix turnover, with research applications spanning pancreatic exocrine biology, wound healing studies, pulmonary tissue investigations, and tumor microenvironment analysis. Each microplate is pre-coated and supplied with reagents and buffers ready for standard laboratory workflows. The colorimetric readout is compatible with common plate-reader instrumentation operating in the visible range. Sample handling protocols cover serum fractions, plasma preparations, tissue homogenate lysates, and additional human research sample matrices. The assay targets the human ELA2B protein specifically and has not been validated for cross-reactivity with rodent orthologs or other species.
