Human ELA2/Neutrophil Elastase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Neutrophil Elastase (ELA2/ELANE) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody format delivers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, and the colorimetric assay is read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development. The kit is intended for research use in immunology, where Neutrophil Elastase serves as a biomarker for inflammation and tissue remodelling.

Linearity has been validated across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 in serum (86–102%, 89–100%, 86–101%), EDTA plasma (82–101%, 86–99%, 86–96%) and heparin plasma (80–90%, 81–96%, 86–100%). Spike-recovery performance is reported for serum (range 85–98%, average 90%), EDTA plasma (range 93–105%, average 99%) and heparin plasma (range 87–104%, average 97%). Components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with the microplate and lyophilised standard also suitable for 12 months at −20°C.
