Human EIF4H ELISA Kit (HUFI04459)

The EIF4H protein (Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 4H) is a key regulator of cap-dependent mRNA translation initiation and maps within the Williams-Beuren syndrome critical region on human chromosome 7. This immunoassay from Assay Genie uses a human-specific capture antibody pair to selectively measure endogenous EIF4H levels in serum-derived and plasma-derived specimens, with no significant cross-reactivity observed with analogous translation initiation factors. The procedure requires 100 uL of sample per well and can be completed in approximately four hours from plate setup to final absorbance read-out. Reconstituted standards and concentrated detection antibody should be stored frozen at -20 degrees C to preserve binding activity, while unused microplate strips remain refrigerated and sealed in the desiccant pouch until the printed expiration date.
