Human EIF4A2 ELISA Kit (HUFI04458)

EIF4A2 (Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 4A2) is a ~46 kDa ATP-dependent DEAD-box RNA helicase involved in cap-dependent translation initiation and recruited by the TNRC6 family to mediate microRNA-induced silencing. The Assay Genie immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of EIF4A2 in cell lysates and tissue homogenates, supporting research in oncology, neurodegeneration, and post-transcriptional gene regulation.

Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, and substrate, with sufficient reagents for 96 Assays. The procedure involves sequential addition of standard or sample, biotinylated detection antibody, and HRP conjugate with washing steps between incubations. Total assay time is approximately 3.5 hours, and a typical sample volume of 100 uL is required per well.

Store all kit components refrigerated at 4°C; reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and frozen to limit freeze-thaw cycles. The assay is intended for research use only and has not been validated for diagnostic procedures.
