EIF3L (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit L, also referenced as EIF3S11 or HSPC021) is an approximately 67 kDa component of the multi-subunit eIF3 complex, which mediates recruitment of the 40S ribosomal subunit to capped messenger RNAs at the start of protein synthesis.

Altered EIF3L expression has been described in cancers and in cellular settings where cap-dependent translation is rewired by viral or stress signaling, making the protein of interest for translational control and ribosome biogenesis studies.

The kit fits workflows investigating oncogenic translation control, viral host-factor biology, and developmental gene expression, and can be paired with western blot or quantitative PCR confirmation experiments on the same sample set.
