Human EIF2B2 ELISA Kit (HUFI04471)

This kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of EIF2B2 (Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 2B Subunit Beta), a key regulatory protein in the guanine nucleotide exchange cycle that recycles eIF2-GDP to its active GTP-bound form during translation initiation. EIF2B2 mutations are causally linked to childhood ataxia with central nervous system hypomyelination, also known as leukoencephalopathy with vanishing white matter (VWM), making this assay a useful tool for neurological and translational control research.

The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, biotin-conjugated detection antibody, and streptavidin-HRP reagents. A standard curve is generated from recombinant EIF2B2 calibrators, with a recommended sample volume of 100 µL per well.
