The Eg5 target (also known as KIF11 or kinesin-5) is a mitotic kinesin motor protein essential for bipolar spindle assembly during cell division. Altered Eg5 expression has been reported in proliferative disease research, including studies of anti-mitotic drug response in oncology. This Assay Genie ELISA features a human-specific capture antibody and is supplied as a complete microplate-based kit for research use only, supporting quantitative measurement of Eg5 protein levels in human specimens for cancer cell proliferation studies.
