The Assay Genie EFHA1 immunoassay is supplied as a complete kit containing a pre-coated microplate, capture antibody, detection reagents, recombinant reference standards, and the assay buffers required to perform a full plate. EFHA1 (EF-hand domain family member A1), also referred to as MICU3, is a mitochondrial calcium uptake regulator that modulates MCU channel activity and contributes to organelle calcium homeostasis. Researchers investigating mitochondrial bioenergetics, calcium signaling cascades, and metabolic dysfunction will find this assay useful for quantifying EFHA1 abundance in clinical biospecimens.
