Description

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie, this colorimetric assay is designed for the quantitative detection of human Ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 1 (ENTPD1), also referred to as CD39, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human ENTPD1.

The reported detection range is 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 26pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is 4.8% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.6% CV. Recovery in serum averaged 89% (range 83-95%) and in plasma averaged 91% (range 85-97%). Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.

ENTPD1 is a plasma membrane ectoenzyme that hydrolyzes extracellular ATP and ADP to AMP, playing a role in purinergic neurotransmission, immune regulation, and the prevention of platelet aggregation. Dysregulation has been linked to autoimmune disorders, inflammation, and cancer. The protein is encoded by the ENTPD1 gene (NCBI Gene ID: 953; UniProt: P49961) with a molecular weight of 59,325 Da, and functions as a disulfide-linked homodimer localized to the membrane as a multi-pass protein.
