Human E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase HUWE1 (HUWE1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate and precise detection of human E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase HUWE1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, providing a dependable tool for a broad range of research applications.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156–10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.067ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 5.3% and inter-assay CV at 9.1%. Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (N=5). Recovery averages 101% in serum (range 95–107%) and 103% in plasma (range 97–109%). Specificity covers natural and recombinant human HUWE1.

HUWE1 is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that mediates ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins, regulating apoptosis through polyubiquitination of MCL1 and contributing to base-excision repair via monoubiquitination of DNA polymerase beta. It also ubiquitinates the p53/TP53 tumour suppressor and core histones H1, H2A, H2B, H3 and H4. Dysregulation of HUWE1 has been linked to cancer, neurological disorders and developmental abnormalities, supporting its value as a biomarker for disease research. For research use only.
