The kit is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and detects natural and recombinant human E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase AMFR.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.34ng/ml, an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 7.4%. Linearity in serum (N=5) ranges from 83-95% at 1:2 to 100-111% at 1:16, in EDTA plasma (N=5) from 104-113% at 1:2 to 82-95% at 1:16, and in heparin plasma (N=5) from 93-103% at 1:2 to 99-107% at 1:16. Recovery averages 98% (range 92-104%) for serum and 100% (range 94-106%) for plasma.
