Human Dysbindin (DTNBP1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of human Dysbindin (DTNBP1). The kit is intended for research use only and shows reactivity with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Specificity covers both natural and recombinant human Dysbindin. Dysbindin, also known as DTNBP1, is a component of the BLOC-1 complex and plays a part in synaptic vesicle trafficking, neurotransmitter release, and the regulation of cell surface exposure of DRD2.

Performance characteristics reported for the kit include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 34pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.7% and inter-assay CV is 7.5%. Linearity was evaluated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (N=5), EDTA plasma (N=5) and heparin plasma (N=5), with reported ranges of 102-111%, 86-95%, 89-98% and 108-116% for serum; 103-115%, 108-118%, 104-115% and 88-98% for EDTA plasma; and 100-112%, 112-121%, 103-113% and 107-117% for heparin plasma. Recovery averaged 98% (range 92-104%) in serum and 100% (range 94-106%) in plasma.
