Microtubule-associated motor proteins of the dynein family drive ciliary beating and intracellular transport, and altered expression of Dynein Heavy Chain Domain Containing Protein 1 (DNHD1) has been linked to motile cilia dysfunction, respiratory epithelial abnormalities, and spermatogenic failure in human genetic studies. The Assay Genie Human DNHD1 ELISA Kit provides a quantitative immunoassay for measuring DNHD1 protein levels in research samples derived from human cells and tissues.

Each kit is supplied as a 96-assay microplate pack containing the plate, protein standards, detection antibody, wash buffer, substrate solution, and other reagents required to perform the measurement. The chromogenic readout is captured on a standard plate reader, and the procedure supports in vitro research applications including studies of axonemal dynein function, cytoskeletal motor protein expression, and tissue-specific gene regulation. Reagents are supplied in individual vials within the kit, and the workflow can be completed by a single technician using standard immunoassay conditions.

Common downstream uses include correlating DNHD1 protein abundance with western blot confirmation, PCR-based transcript analysis, or immunohistochemistry localization in fixed tissue sections. Researchers working on respiratory ciliated epithelium models, flagellar motility, or reproductive biology can integrate this kit alongside other readouts to build a multi-modal picture of DNHD1 behaviour in their experimental system. The kit is intended for research use only and is not cleared for diagnostic procedures.
