Human Dynamin-2 (DNM2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Dynamin-2 (DNM2) in research samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Dynamin-2 and is intended for research use only.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit delivers a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 10pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%. Linearity testing across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:4 to 1:8 to 1:16) showed serum ranges of 102-112%, 101-112%, 101-113%, and 100-108%; EDTA plasma ranges of 94-106%, 105-115%, 97-107%, and 85-93%; and heparin plasma ranges of 95-104%, 98-107%, 99-109%, and 95-104%. Spike recovery averaged 92% for serum (range 86-98%) and 94% for plasma (range 88-100%).

Dynamin-2 is a microtubule-associated GTPase involved in endocytosis, vesicular trafficking, and cytokinesis. Dysregulation of dynamin-2 has been linked to diseases including Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and centronuclear myopathy, making this kit a useful tool for research into these disorders.
