Human Dynamin 1/DNM1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise measurement of Dynamin-1 (DNM1) levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method, with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL.

Dynamin-1 is a key protein involved in endocytosis, essential for cellular uptake of molecules and membrane recycling. Its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, neurological disorders, and immune system dysfunction, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and identifying potential therapeutic targets.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, incubating standards and samples at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes, then HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm. Reported recovery is 91–105% for serum (average 96%), 85–105% for EDTA plasma (average 93%), and 88–104% for heparin plasma (average 93%). The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
