Human Dual specificity protein phosphatase 4 (DUSP4) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Dual specificity protein phosphatase 4 (DUSP4), also known as Dual specificity protein phosphatase hVH2, Mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase 2, MAP kinase phosphatase 2, MKP2, or VH2. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatant and other biological fluids.

DUSP4 regulates mitogenic signal transduction by dephosphorylating both threonine and tyrosine residues on MAP kinases ERK1 and ERK2 and is localised in the nucleus. The kit delivers a detection range of 0.312-20ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.085ng/ml. Reported precision is 5.7% intra-assay CV and 10.2% inter-assay CV, with recovery averaging 86% (range 80-92%) in serum and 88% (range 82-94%) in plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human DUSP4 and is intended for research use only, with applications particularly relevant to cancer research.
