Intended for quantifying endogenous DSTYK protein in human tissue homogenates and body fluid samples, this Assay Genie ELISA Kit is supplied in a 96 assays configuration that supports sample replicates and standard curve points on a single plate run.

DSTYK is a catalytically active dual-specificity kinase that phosphorylates serine, threonine, and tyrosine residues. It has documented roles in apoptotic signaling, cellular stress responses, and developmental patterning of the renal and urinary tract. Measuring DSTYK expression with this kit supports investigations into kinase signaling networks, tumor biology where DSTYK dysregulation has been implicated, and pathway studies in patient-derived tissue samples.

Detection is achieved through a colorimetric assay read on a standard microplate reader. The kit is intended for research use only and includes pre-coated plate wells, detection antibodies, standards, and buffers sufficient for 96 individual determinations. Reconstituted reagents should be handled according to the protocol insert and stored at the temperatures specified therein. Unopened components are refrigerated until the kit expiration date printed on the package.

Typical applications include profiling kinase expression across matched tumor and adjacent normal tissue panels, tracking DSTYK abundance following experimental manipulation of upstream regulators, and comparing levels across disease versus control cohorts in translational research programs.
