Human Dual oxidase 2 (DUOX2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human Dual oxidase 2 (DUOX2) ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format assay designed for the quantitative detection of DUOX2 in human samples. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and specifically recognises both natural and recombinant human Dual oxidase 2.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.089 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%. Dilution linearity in serum spans 93–107% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, with EDTA plasma between 96–123% and heparin plasma between 84–114%. Recovery in serum averages 99% (range 93–105%) and in plasma 101% (range 95–107%).

Dual oxidase 2 generates the hydrogen peroxide required for the activity of thyroid peroxidase (TPO) and lactoperoxidase (LPO), supporting thyroid hormone synthesis and lactoperoxidase-mediated antimicrobial defence at mucosal surfaces. The product is supplied for research use only.
