Description

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human DPP6 (Dipeptidyl Peptidase VI), this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format and is reactive with human samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, making the kit suitable for research applications in cell biology. DPP6 is an enzyme implicated in the regulation of cellular processes such as protein breakdown and signal transduction, with dysregulation reported in conditions including epilepsy, schizophrenia and autoimmune disorders.

Assay performance is characterised by a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and a standard curve spanning 3.125–200 ng/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 in serum (89–103%, 86–99%, 85–99%), EDTA plasma (93–100%, 82–97%, 84–97%) and heparin plasma (85–95%, 81–98%, 86–98%). Recovery ranges reported are 86–103% for serum (average 93%), 86–102% for EDTA plasma (average 96%) and 86–101% for heparin plasma (average 95%).

The procedure follows a six-step protocol: reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and stop reaction with absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C, with the kit stable for 12 months under those conditions.
