Human Dopamine D2 R/DRD2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies this sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit for quantitative measurement of Dopamine D2 R/DRD2 in human samples. The colourimetric assay is directed against the human Dopamine D2 Receptor (synonyms: D2R, DRD2, Dopamine Receptor D2) and is suited to cell biology research, where DRD2 has been implicated in psychiatric and neurological conditions.

Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The procedure comprises reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction read at 450 nm. Serum is clotted then centrifuged at 1000 × g for 20 minutes; anticoagulant plasma is centrifuged at 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2–8°C.
