Human Dolichyl-diphosphooligosaccharide--protein glycosyltransferase 48 kDa subunit (DDOST) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of Human Dolichyl-diphosphooligosaccharide--protein glycosyltransferase 48 kDa subunit (DDOST) in human samples. The assay accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is specific for natural and recombinant human DDOST. Detection is performed by ELISA.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.12ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.6% and inter-assay CV is 7.3%. Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 is reported for serum (87-99% to 87-97%), EDTA plasma (92-104% to 80-89%) and heparin plasma (110-120% to 91-100%). Recovery averages 98% (range 92-104%) for serum and 100% (range 94-106%) for plasma.

DDOST is a key enzyme involved in the glycosylation process, playing a critical role in protein folding and stability, and its dysregulation has been implicated in congenital disorders of glycosylation and certain cancers. The kit is for research use only.
