The DOCK180 protein, also known as DOCK1, is a dedicator of cytokinesis family member that acts as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for Rac1. Approximately 180 kDa in molecular weight, it drives actin cytoskeleton remodeling, cell migration, phagocytosis, and lamellipodia formation. Dysregulation of DOCK180 is linked to tumor invasion, leukocyte chemotaxis defects, and developmental disorders affecting neuronal pathfinding.

Assay Genie's DOCK180 immunoassay provides a quantitative, antibody-based measurement system built around pre-coated microplate wells, allowing researchers to determine endogenous human DOCK180 concentrations in clinical specimens. The assay is species-specific to human DOCK180, with no significant cross-reactivity to rodent orthologs. Each microplate provides 96 Assays worth of capture wells, sufficient for measuring standards, controls, and multiple unknowns in parallel using 100 µL of sample per well.
