Human DNM2/Dynamin-2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Human DNM2/Dynamin-2 ELISA Kit is a Sandwich ELISA using a double antibody format designed for the precise measurement of dynamin 2 levels in human samples. The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric detection method. Components are intended to be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, with selected items stored at -20°C for longer-term storage.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity values at the 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions are 84–98%, 91–94% and 81–99% for serum (n=5); 90–101%, 82–100% and 87–99% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84–99%, 83–92% and 81–100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges are 83–104% (average 95%) for serum, 85–101% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 88–104% (average 98%) for heparin plasma.

Dynamin 2 is a key protein involved in membrane dynamics and vesicle formation, with described roles in endocytosis and cell division. Dysregulation of dynamin 2 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, neurological disorders and muscular dystrophy, supporting its value as a biomarker for investigating these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.
