Built around the immunoglobulin superfamily co-receptor CD226, this Assay Genie Human DNAM-1 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit provides a quantitative tool for immunology and oncology laboratories profiling soluble receptor concentrations in cell culture supernatant and matched plasma or serum specimens. DNAM-1 is constitutively expressed on natural killer cells, cytotoxic T lymphocytes, and select CD4+ T cell subsets, where it transduces activating signals through engagement with the poliovirus receptor family ligands CD112 and CD155. Monitoring circulating or shed DNAM-1 levels is increasingly relevant to studies of tumor immune surveillance, viral co-infection dynamics, and chronic inflammatory disease, since altered receptor shedding often correlates with effector cell exhaustion and disease progression.
