Human DnaJ homolog subfamily C member 27 (DNAJC27) ELISA Kit

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.082 ng/mL, with intra-assay precision (CV) of 6.3% and inter-assay precision of 9.4%.

DNAJC27, also known by the synonyms Rab and DnaJ domain-containing protein, RABJS, and RBJ, belongs to the small GTPase superfamily (Rab family) and the DnaJ/Hsp40 family of chaperones, which play a critical role in protein folding, degradation, and quality control. Dysregulation of DNAJC27 has been associated with various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic conditions. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human DNAJC27 and is intended for research use only.

Linearity has been characterised across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (N=5 for each) at serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with recovery averaging 96% in serum (range 90–102%) and 98% in plasma (range 92–104%). The target protein is localised to the nucleus and functions as a GTPase capable of activating the MEK/ERK signalling pathway.
