Human DNA topoisomerase 1 (TOP1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human DNA topoisomerase 1 (TOP1), also known as DNA topoisomerase I — an essential nuclear enzyme that relieves supercoiling and torsional tension of DNA during replication and transcription. The assay is reactive with human samples and is intended for the measurement of TOP1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, recognising both natural and recombinant human DNA topoisomerase 1. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.37ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.5% and an inter-assay CV of 7.4%. Spike-and-recovery testing returned an average of 94% (range 88-100%) for serum and 96% (range 90-102%) for plasma, and linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
