Human DNA replication factor Cdt1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human DNA replication factor Cdt1 (CDT1) in human samples. CDT1 is a DNA replication licensing factor required for pre-replication complex assembly during G1 phase of the cell cycle, cooperating with CDC6 and the origin recognition complex to load the MCM complex onto chromatin. The protein is also required for mitosis, where it promotes stable kinetochore-microtubule attachments, and has been described as a potential oncogene. It localises to the nucleus, chromosome, centromere, and kinetochore, with primary research relevance in cancer.

The assay accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with detection by a colourimetric method. Manufacturer-reported performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.056ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.2%, and an inter-assay CV of 11.7%. Recovery is given as 93% (range 87-99%) for serum and 95% (range 89-101%) for plasma. Specificity is for natural and recombinant human CDT1 (UniProt Q9H211, molecular weight 546).
