Human DNA ligase 3 (LIG3) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of human DNA ligase 3 (LIG3), also known as DNA ligase III or polydeoxyribonucleotide synthase [ATP] 3, in human samples. The colorimetric assay is reactive with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and is specific for natural and recombinant human DNA ligase 3.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.11ng/ml, an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and an inter-assay CV of 7.3%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with recovery averaging 98% in serum and 100% in plasma.

DNA ligase 3 is an ATP-dependent DNA ligase involved in base-excision repair, nucleotide-excision repair, double-strand break repair and the maintenance of genomic stability. Isoform 3 forms a heterodimer with the DNA-repair protein XRCC1 in the nucleus, while isoform 1 is targeted to mitochondria. The kit is supplied for research use only.
