Human DNA fragmentation factor subunit beta (DFFB) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human DNA fragmentation factor subunit beta (DFFB), a nuclease that induces DNA fragmentation and chromatin condensation during apoptosis. The kit is reactive with human samples and validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, and the assay shows specificity for natural and recombinant human DFFB.

The kit offers a detection range of 125-8000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 62.5 pg/mL. Reported precision values are intra-assay CV of 6.9% and inter-assay CV of 10.5%. Linearity has been evaluated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum (87-118%), EDTA plasma (93-117%) and heparin plasma (105-127%). Recovery averages 109% (range 103-115%) in serum and 111% (range 105-117%) in plasma. The target protein (UniProt O76075, NCBI Gene ID 1677, molecular weight 11,482 Da) is localised to the cytoplasm and nucleus and is associated with cancer research.

Reagent components are supplied for the workflow, including an 8×12 strip microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate and stop solution.
