Human DMGDH/Dimethylglycine dehydrogenase ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a high-quality Sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human Dimethylglycine Dehydrogenase (DMGDH), a mitochondrial enzyme involved in dimethylglycine metabolism. The assay supports research into DMGDH dysregulation, which has been linked to metabolic and neurological conditions. It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Using a colourimetric double-antibody sandwich format, the kit offers a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a detection range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity validation reports values for serum (91–102% at 1:2, 85–101% at 1:4, 84–99% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (87–102%, 85–96%, 94–100%) and heparin plasma (88–104%, 85–99%, 81–96%). Recovery ranges from 89–103% for serum (average 98%), 87–103% for EDTA plasma (average 95%), and 88–105% for heparin plasma (average 97%).

The assay protocol includes equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and stop reaction with absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Kit components comprise a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, wash buffer (25X), stop solution, plate sealers, and a technical manual. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
