Human DLK1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human DLK1 (Delta-like 1 protein), a regulator of cell differentiation, proliferation, and development. The assay uses a double-antibody configuration with colorimetric detection and is suitable for measuring DLK1 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is positioned as a biomarker tool for studies of cancer, obesity, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders.

The protocol follows a sandwich ELISA workflow: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate, then incubate standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody (37°C for 60 minutes), HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Reported linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions spans 80–103% for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each), and mean recovery values are 94% (serum), 92% (EDTA plasma), and 96% (heparin plasma). Storage is at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
