Human DKKL1/Soggy-1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of DKKL1 (Soggy-1) levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL, and a measuring range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. The protocol follows a standard workflow: equilibration of reagents and TMB substrate, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction read at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

DKKL1, also known as Soggy-1, is a protein involved in cell differentiation and development and is of significant interest in research into cancer, developmental disorders, and other diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for research and therapeutic development. Reported linearity in serum (n=5) spans 85-104% at 1:2, 92-100% at 1:4 and 92-105% at 1:8, with comparable ranges for EDTA and heparin plasma; recovery averages 96% in serum, 98% in EDTA plasma and 98% in heparin plasma.
