Human Dkk-2/Dickkopf-related protein 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Dkk-2 (Dickkopf-related protein 2). It is intended for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

Manufacturer documentation describes DKK-2 as a key protein that plays a crucial role in inhibiting the Wnt signaling pathway, a pathway involved in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation and migration. Dysregulation of this pathway has been linked to numerous conditions, including cancer, osteoporosis and Alzheimer's disease, positioning DKK-2 as a protein of interest as a potential biomarker. Reported linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 covers 85–105% for serum, 82–99% for EDTA plasma and 83–100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges are reported as 89–103% for serum (average 97%), 91–97% for EDTA plasma (average 94%) and 89–98% for heparin plasma (average 92%).
