Human Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 33 (ADAM33) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 33 (ADAM33). The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human ADAM33 (UniProt Q9BZ11).

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 34 pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Linearity has been assessed across dilution series in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, while recovery averaged 106% (range 100-112%) in serum and 108% (range 102-114%) in plasma. The kit is intended for research use only, supporting cell biology studies of this type I transmembrane protein, which is implicated in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions and has been associated with asthma and bronchial hyperresponsiveness.
