Human Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 29 (ADAM29) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 29 (ADAM29), also known as Cancer/testis antigen 73 (CT73). The kit is intended for research use only and supports investigations in areas where ADAM29, a member of the ADAM family implicated in spermatogenesis, fertilization and cell-matrix adhesion, is relevant.

The assay is reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human ADAM29. It delivers a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL across a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.4% and inter-assay CV of 9.2%.

Dilutional linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and recovery in serum averages 108% (range 102-114%) while plasma averages 110% (range 104-116%). Component storage details and the full assay protocol are provided with the kit, which is shipped at +4°C.
