Human Dihydropyrimidinase-related protein 3 (DPYSL3) ELISA Kit

DPYSL3 is a protein that plays a vital role in neuronal development and function, being involved in processes such as neurite outgrowth and axon guidance. Using a competitive assay format, the kit detects natural and recombinant human DPYSL3 with a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.328ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.3% and inter-assay CV is 5.7%. Reported linearity in serum ranges from 83% to 118% across sample dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with EDTA plasma between 100-113% and heparin plasma between 92-113%. Average recovery is 86% for serum (range 80-92%) and 88% for plasma (range 82-94%). The protein functions in signaling by class 3 semaphorins and subsequent remodeling of the cytoskeleton, playing a role in axon guidance, neuronal growth cone collapse and cell migration. It is also known as Collapsin response mediator protein 4 (CRMP-4), Unc-33-like phosphoprotein 1 (ULIP-1), DRP-3, CRMP4, DRP3 and ULIP, and is localized to the cytoplasm, cell projections and growth cones.
