Human Dihydrolipoyl Dehydrogenase (DLD) ELISA Kit

The Dihydrolipoyl Dehydrogenase (DLD) protein, also known as the E3 subunit of the mitochondrial pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, is a flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD)-dependent enzyme essential for aerobic energy metabolism and branched-chain amino acid catabolism. This Assay Genie ELISA enables quantitative measurement of DLD in research samples, supporting investigations of mitochondrial function, oxidative phosphorylation, and inherited metabolic disorders such as DLD deficiency, which presents with lactic acidosis and is the molecular basis of maple syrup urine disease type 3.
