Human Dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Dihydrofolate Reductase (DHFR), a key enzyme in the folate metabolism pathway involved in de novo glycine and purine synthesis, DNA precursor synthesis, and the mitochondrial thymidylate biosynthesis pathway. The kit is for research use only and detects both natural and recombinant human DHFR, a homodimer localised to the cytoplasm and mitochondrion (UniProt P00374).

Validated for human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, the assay provides a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 34 pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.7% and an inter-assay CV of 9.1%. Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (average 101%, range 95-107%) and plasma (average 103%, range 97-109%), with linearity confirmed across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. The kit is supplied with a dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents, wash buffer, TMB substrate, and stop solution, each with specified storage temperatures.
