Human Dickkopf-related protein 4 (DKK4) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Dickkopf-related protein 4 (DKK4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human DKK4 and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.054 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.1% and inter-assay CV is 9.2%. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery averaged 104% in serum (range 98-110%) and 106% in plasma (range 100-112%).

DKK4 is a secreted inhibitor of canonical Wnt signalling that interacts with LRP5 and LRP6 and, through a ternary complex with KREMEN, promotes LRP5/6 internalisation. Dysregulation of DKK4 has been associated with cancer, osteoporosis and Alzheimer disease.
