Human Dickkopf-related protein 2 (DKK2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantification of human Dickkopf-related protein 2 (DKK2), a secreted modulator of canonical Wnt signaling. DKK2 antagonizes Wnt signaling by inhibiting the interaction of LRP5/6 with Wnt and, together with the transmembrane protein KREMEN, promotes internalization of LRP5/6. The protein has been implicated in cancer, osteoporosis and Alzheimer's disease, and the research area covered by the kit is cancer.

The assay is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Specificity is for natural and recombinant human DKK2 (UniProt Q9UBU2). Reported performance figures include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.23ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.9%. Average recovery is 100% (range 94-106%) in serum and 102% (range 96-108%) in plasma. For research use only.
