Human Dicer ELISA Kit

The Human Dicer ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Dicer levels in human biological samples. Dicer is a key enzyme involved in RNA interference and microRNA processing, playing a critical role in gene regulation and cellular function. This colorimetric, sandwich-format ELISA kit offers high sensitivity and specificity for the detection of Dicer.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity in serum is 88–105% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions, while EDTA plasma ranges from 82–100% and heparin plasma from 80–100% over the same dilutions. Recovery spans 92–104% for serum (average 99%), 86–101% for EDTA plasma (average 94%), and 87–101% for heparin plasma (average 94%).

The procedure uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody followed by HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB color development, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. All kit components are stored at 2–8°C, with the standard and plate strips additionally suitable for long-term storage at -20°C. This kit is intended for research use only and supports studies into Dicer dysregulation, which has been implicated in cancer, viral infections, and neurological disorders.
