Human Dicer 1, Ribonuclease Type III (DICER1) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie DICER1 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of human Dicer 1, Ribonuclease Type III protein in research samples using a validated immunoassay workflow.

DICER1 is a cytoplasmic RNase III enzyme that cleaves precursor double-stranded RNA into mature microRNAs (~21-23 nucleotides), making it central to RNA interference pathways and post-transcriptional gene silencing. Aberrant DICER1 expression is implicated in oncogenesis, particularly in pleuropulmonary blastoma, ovarian Sertoli-Leydig cell tumors, and thyroid neoplasia, which makes the protein a target of interest in cancer biology, developmental studies, and biomarker discovery programs.

The kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standards, detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer concentrate, substrate solution, and stop reagent. Reconstituted reagents should be kept refrigerated for short-term use, while unused strips stored sealed with desiccant remain stable through the stated expiry. Researchers load 100 uL of standard or diluted sample per well and read absorbance on a standard plate reader.

For best results, samples such as cell lysates and tissue homogenates should be clarified by centrifugation at 10,000 x g for 10 minutes prior to loading. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by aliquoting prepared samples. This kit is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic procedures.
