Human Developmental pluripotency-associated protein 2 (DPPA2) ELISA Kit

The colorimetric assay is intended for human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and is specific for natural and recombinant human DPPA2. Manufacturer specifications report a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40.5pg/mL, with reactivity limited to human samples.

DPPA2 is a nuclear protein (UniProt Q7Z7J5) that binds to target gene promoters, including NKX2-5 and SYCE1 but not GATA4, and may contribute to maintaining the active epigenetic status of these genes. The protein interacts with DPPA4 and is associated with chromatin binding, stem cell maintenance and the regulation of histone methylation. The assay readout is performed on a microplate reader at 450 nm using the included substrate and stop solutions. The product is labelled for research use only.
