Human Desmocollin 1 (DSC1) ELISA Kit

Desmocollin 1 (DSC1) is a transmembrane glycoprotein and a core component of desmosomes, the intercellular junctions that maintain mechanical integrity in stratified epithelia. This Assay Genie kit enables quantification of DSC1 protein in studies of epidermal differentiation, keratinocyte adhesion, skin barrier function, and epithelial tumor biology, where loss of desmosomal cadherins is associated with invasion and metastasis. The assay accepts tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other sample matrices, supporting dermatology, oncology, and cell adhesion signaling research. Each kit provides reagents for 96 determinations in a microplate format and is intended for research use only in vitro.
