Human Desmin PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0496)

Desmin is a 53 kDa type III intermediate filament protein expressed in skeletal, cardiac, and smooth muscle tissue, and it is widely used as an immunohistochemical marker for rhabdomyosarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, and myogenic differentiation research. The Assay Genie kit quantifies circulating desmin in human plasma, serum, and conditioned cell culture media, supporting translational studies of muscle injury, muscular dystrophies, and tumor biomarker profiling. Using a 100 µL sample volume per well, the working range is calibrated to the physiological and pathological concentrations reported for human desmin, with a sensitivity below 0.1 ng/mL suitable for low-abundance detection. Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, and TMB substrate. Reagents are supplied refrigerated and should be stored at the temperature indicated on the label, with the standard reconstituted and aliquoted for repeated freeze-thaw cycles as needed.
