Human Desert Hedgehog/Dhh ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative measurement of human Desert Hedgehog (DHH) protein in human biological samples, using a colorimetric detection method. The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. Desert hedgehog is a member of the hedgehog protein family implicated in embryonic development, cell differentiation, and tissue regeneration, with dysregulated signalling associated with cancers, bone disorders, and developmental abnormalities.

Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8. Reported ranges are 89-105%, 88-97%, and 89-103% for serum; 85-101%, 82-98%, and 85-101% for EDTA plasma; and 84-90%, 82-99%, and 87-99% for heparin plasma. Average recovery is 93% in serum (range 85-105%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 87-99%), and 95% in heparin plasma (range 85-100%).

Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months. The procedure follows a standard sandwich ELISA workflow: primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm following stop solution addition.
