Human Dermatopontin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is a colorimetric, double-antibody assay for the quantitative measurement of dermatopontin in human samples. It is reactive with human analytes and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Linearity (n = 5) across serial dilutions was 86–104%, 94–105%, and 90–100% for serum; 82–99%, 84–95%, and 84–98% for EDTA plasma; and 90–98%, 80–96%, and 81–98% for heparin plasma. Average recovery (n = 5) was 94% for serum (range 88–100%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 86–98%), and 96% for heparin plasma (range 92–102%). The kit supports a sandwich workflow that includes a 37°C primary incubation, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB colour development, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Dermatopontin (DPT, TRAMP, tyrosine-rich acidic matrix protein) is implicated in skin development and wound healing, and its dysregulation has been linked to skin disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker in dermatology and cell biology research.
