Human Deoxyribonuclease I (DNASE1) ELISA Kit

The Human Deoxyribonuclease I (DNASE1) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of DNASE1, an endonuclease that cleaves single- and double-stranded DNA. Circulating DNASE1 levels are a research biomarker of interest in systemic lupus erythematosus, where reduced activity impairs clearance of self-DNA and contributes to immune complex deposition. Additional applications include studies of neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) degradation, cell-free DNA turnover, and inflammation biology.

The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to human DNASE1. Prepared standards and biological samples are loaded at 50-100 uL per well, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate. After incubation with TMB substrate and stop solution, absorbance is read on a standard plate reader. A standard curve generated from serial dilutions is used to interpolate sample concentrations in ng/mL. Each kit provides the reagents required to run the assay in microplate format and is intended for research use only.
